Coordinating Council

The Thrive by Five Coordinating Council works to measure progress of District and community-level initiatives focused on improving maternal and infant health outcomes and promoting healthy child development from birth to age five.

  • Make recommendations to the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services regarding programs, policies, and initiatives to connect families and individuals to resources to support maternal and child (perinatal) health, behavioral health, and early education.

  • Make recommendations to the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services regarding coordination, consolidation, streamlining, and alignment of the plans, policies, programs, and services, related to or responsible for improving outcomes for infants and children from birth to age five.
