Thrive by Five DC, launched by Mayor Muriel Bowser, works to ensure that every family in the District is knowledgeable of and connected to programs and resources, ranging from maternal health to early childhood supports, needed not only to survive but to thrive.
Thrive by Five is a one-stop resource for District parents and caretakers navigating the city’s wide range of early health and learning resources. Here, District residents can access critical information and support in one place.
Collaboration and Partnership
Thrive by Five is the District’s first comprehensive health and early learning initiative. Thrive by Five’s work is developed in partnership with all stakeholders who are implementing and investing in health and education services for families.
Thrive by Five Coordinating Council
The Thrive by Five Coordinating Council measures the progress of District—and community—level initiatives focused on improving maternal and infant health outcomes and promoting healthy child development from birth to age five.
